State Rep. Jim Miceli, D-Wilmington, declared his support for Casino Gambling Bill approved by Parliament and signed into law this week by Governor Deval Patrick.
“This is first and foremost jobs bills,” said Miceli. “It will bring economic growth and help the local critical and make the construction work is good.”
Report of the Conference of the gameplay is approved by the Senate and the House also provides state income tax revenue of 25 percent and 40 percent of Casino income tax slot facility. This income will be used to fund important State and local services, including public safety, education, transportation, public health, debt reduction, local assistance and stabilization fund “rainy day”.
Fees collected by the State licensing will also be used for local community mitigation, capital projects, community colleges, tourism and other needs of the city.
