Hiking: Proceed up the perfect day trail

This Thursday, first day

I decided to take a quick hike up to 2.8 miles Carter ledge on the shoulder of Mount Chocorua. Top nude Carter ledge has an exceptional view, and it was a perfect day to take advantage of it.

I parked outside the gates of the camp white balustrade, runs on the left on the road soon gave birth to the circular tar and immediately led the Carter ledge trail.

The smell of wet forest filled my nostrils. Soon I started to have the ideas kept up a trail past the Summit ledges for younger Middle Carter at four miles, and maybe looping over the Summit of Mount Chocorua and down Weetamo trace.
